Century City comprises mixed-use developments, including commercial, office, residential and leisure components, and is worth approximately R16 billion. The area is a well established node with excellent infrastructure and security, and is made up mainly of new modern prime and A-grade buildings. A number of blue- chip companies are based there. An additional advantage is that the site is located next to the N1 and is near the centre of the greater Cape Town Metropolitan area. It has easy access to the entire Western Cape. Over the last decade the development has matured and now consists of various multi-tier offices that give investors, owner-occupiers and tenants an abundance of products to choose from. Investors also include owner-occupiers, such as Liberty Life and Aurecon, and private individuals and, to a lesser extent, domestic financial institutions, domestic real estate companies and foreign entities and organisations.
